Alien: Dark Descent First Gameplay Trailer
Following the success of party-based permadeath strategy shooters like X-Com, Alien: Dark Descent introduces a real-time element that will certainly add to the horror of the genre. You can watch the first gameplay trailer here. It appears that sneaking to avoid major threats will be an important factor in the game, a staple feature in most Alien games. But during intense firefights the game will only allow you to slow down time, not stop it entirely, meaning split decisions will have to be made. A new RTS game in the Alien series is definitely something the market hasn’t seen in a long time, let’s hope it's a good one.
Little Nightmares Developers Drop Hint at New Franchise

Tarsier Studios, the development team behind Little Nightmares 1 and 2, were bought under the Embracer Group during the creation of the second game. They just released an image on Twitter you can see here, indicating that they are working on a whole new franchise not related to the original Little Nightmares universe. It does appear to have the same dark atmosphere with amazing background styles. Having played through both Little Nightmares games, it is sad to see them end, but I am very interested in whatever Tarsier Studios intends to do next.
