Continuing with the retelling of World of Warcraft’s twenty-year-old story through Classic servers, Activision Blizzard is set to (re)release the timeless Wrath of the Lich King expansion on September 26th. Containing one of the most iconic villains in all of gaming, Arthas Menethil returns to spread the Scourge across Azeroth once again. For relatively newer players, long-time streamers Asmongold and Esfand put out some really funny WOW content on Twitch and YouTube, so try to catch up with what the WOW community has been doing in Classic. For more info on this expansion’s content on release, check out this PCGamer article.

Resident Evil IV Remake Leaks and Speculation

With the massive success of Resident Evil VII and Village, everyone has been looking forward to seeing what Capcom has in store for such a memorable game as Resident Evil IV. Some of the recent leaks have pointed to interesting game-changing mechanics, and you can view the details in an informative video by RapidCrafter on YouTube, linked here. The leaks also suggest that the demo may be released in-between November 2022 and January 2023. Hopefully sooner rather than later, but only time will tell when we can start seeing Leon in another huge game release from Capcom.

MultiVersus Massive Launch and Status Update

Today, we have some announcements for those who are enjoying the game thus far. After the beta was released to everyone on July 26th, MultiVersus has made quite the impact on its PC Smash Bros-like combat experience. On its first day, over 140k players had logged into the server and it keeps growing. MultiVersus plans on remaining free to play with an additional free character swap-out that will occur every two weeks. MultiVersus additionally confirmed that there will no longer be progress resets following the open beta launch. All character progression you earn during the early access will be saved. Microtransactions, something we all love, will be present but as of now aren't as prominent as we thought they would be. Many are saying it's a move in the right direction for microtransactions as a whole since they don’t get in the way of fun.
